How was the winter break? Did you get down to some serious gaming? Hanging with the folks?
Here
at Top Secret HQ, most of us have returned from various foreign lands
and are back in action. While we were away though, BCR managed to pick
up some more awards:
Best Classic Revival from Giantbomb
Judge's Choice Award from Kotaku
And if that wasn't enough, this interview
with "yours truly" was considered one of the best that 1UP has done in
the last 5 years. (Although, that picture makes me look like I'm a
drunk or crazy... or BOTH!)
Not bad if I do say so myself. Now for the "other news". An official press release has been issued
listing first half 2009 for Bionic Commando. Yes, that's a very wide
strike zone. However, at this time I cannot be any more specific than
that.
I can say that our multiplayer event in December went well and everyone really enjoyed BC multiplayer. Heck, I'm not even a big multiplayer guy and I really enjoyed it!
And because I found this really cute video the other day, I have to post it here. Talk about some nice fan love!
Finally, speaking of fan love, community member OzShadow put together this amazing BCR movie-style trailer
using nothing but the PC version of BCR, the mock-trailer voiceover
from File 007 of the podcast, and his not-inconsiderable awesomeness.
Also, possibly some sticky tape. This deserves a massive thumbs-up!

That's not a release date, that's just blowing smoke. All that does is annoy the crap out of us gamers that have been waiting for this game.Whats up with the pic?
