BIONIC RESURRECTION INITIATIVE
SUMMARY
The Bionic Resurrection Initiative, often referred to as BioReign, is considered to be the largest and most well-funded pro-bionic terrorist organization in the world. The bulk of the militia is made up of remnants of the Imperials organization, and also a number of ex-TASC operatives, many of which have bionic augmentations.
HISTORY
The Bionic Resurrection Initiative was born as the result of President Allen’s Bionic Prohibition Act – aka the “Bionic Purge” – in 2036. Official statements from the organization state that its goal is “to reverse and settle the injustice caused by the Bionic Purge, and restore respect and dignity to the bionic population”.
However, it is widely believed that the organization would not be satisfied with the mere reversal of the Bionic Purge, but instead aims to overthrow the FSA government and create a new order with many similarities to that desired by the fascist Imperials organization. Held responsible for dozens of smaller terrorist attacks against both military and civilian targets, BioReign is considered to be a major and growing threat.
PRESENT
Until the Ascension City incident, BioReign had kept a low profile in recent months. However, the presence of BioReign members was confirmed in the arms trade around the world, advancing the theory that BioReign has been building up their arsenal. The bombing of Ascension City made it abundantly clear that BioReign’s reputation was one well-earned. The attack was nothing less than a declaration of war on the FSA.
