BCR2

Quick question: If BCR is successful, can we expect a sequel (BCR2) with the same style (2D gameplay)?

Sorry that meeting sucked so bad

1. CheapyD, will you ever find a way to get BCR even cheaper than it already is?

2. Ben, just give me a date for BCR and let my soul rest. PLEEEEEASE!

3. Do you all agree that E3 '08 sucked or what?

Hey, everyone! Me again!

Anyways, I have a question regarding the strength limits of the Bionic Arm: given that you said that physics were a big part of the game, what is the general size limit of objects that Nathan Spencer can pick up and hurl at his enemies? Since, physics-wise, even with the lisence of him being a video game character, I doubt that you can convince an audience that Spencer is capable of using a skyscraper of a baseball bat.

This is something I've been wondering about, and if you can't tell us yet, I understand.

@Robert Messing

What has been said about objects is that there will be size classifications: the smaller ones get pushed by Spencer, while the bigger ones pull Spencer. That's what I know so far, and I think it's been talked about in an older podcast.

I'm aware of that, but I wanted to know where the cutoff line lay.

Continued from above, because I forgot to say this

I mean, about how large would something have to be to fit into the "large" category where it pulls Spencer instead of vice versa? We've already seen him hurl cars around and yank monorail cars down off their broken, decrepit tracks, yet buildings themselves obviously pull on Spencer. I just wanted to know where the line lay.

BCR, PSN buying et al

Hi guys!

I haven't written to you in a long time, but I've been keeping up with all the podcasts and developments. Great work, congratulations to all.

My question is a rather tricky one - and one I'm pretty sure that, if you'll answer, you'll have to kill me - but, from a financial standpoint, do you receive a percentage for each PSN sale, or a fixed amount for each sale?

Let me explain why:

Some games have prices which are different between regions: i.e. Wolf of the Battlefield costs $9.99 in the US PSN store, while it costs £6.99/€9.60, which is, in terms of actual cost, more than the US version.

I'm asking this because, if you somehow let me know that you receive a percentage of the sale, I'll buy it in the European PSN Store, so you'll receive more (making a profit is hard, I'm aware, so I wanna support you the best I can); otherwise, I'll buy it from the US store, which is a lot cheaper for the pocket.

I want your return from my investment to be the maximum possible :)

Best regards, and once again, keep it up! You guys rock.

I'm gonna be a sucker for doing this, but here's my e-mail, so you can answer it in a safer way, if there's any:

Best regards,

Paulo Tavares

That strange game

I've enjoyed your listening to your podcast and look forward to BCR which I hope is coming out soon! In response to what the name of that game was its Simple 2000 Vol. 50 The 大美人 for the PS2. I just so happen to remember seeing clips of that and laughing really hard over the concept.

BTW, it's neat to be able to see what Gearoid look like when he did the translations for the RE5 demonstration at E3.

about the petition...

Seems that not everyone understand its meant as a joke. Just to make that clear.
We love our european, whisky smelling Gearoid! Yes they do tease him sometimes, but that what friends do. They tease with love =). And we also love the rest of the team!

Here's a question for a

future podcast concerning weirdness in Japan. The only experience of Japan I've had is a four hour layover in the Tokyo airport en route to Thailand. I left the Austin Texas airport filled with rustle and bustle and security guards (male and female) who's arms were about the size of my waist and holding guns that could probably make a Sherman tank feel on edge. There was a whole lot of scary "why are you going there/what business do you have in Asia?" After getting accosted in every personal way possible other than a latex gloved hand up my *bass*, I hopped on the plane. I arrive in Tokyo to a very crowded but blissful silence. The security were all stunningly beautiful 5'1" girls between the ages of 18 and 24 dressed in strange mutations of a dress Mini Mouse would wear cut dangerously short and not seeming very menacing. All I can guess is that hot school girls are being trained in seven deadly weaponless arts that make passive folks like myself feel at ease. When the *stuff* hits the fan though, blood and spleens and fists are flying everywhere followed by the thumps of a couple o' dead dudes hitting the dirt. Great podcast guys.. I really enjoyed it.

Oh dear...

My poor virgin (ha) ears! Just when I thought the sexual innuendos were going to be toned down on this podcast (the description was misleading! I thought it was going to be a whole podcast about where to get cheap games! Lies all lies!) all I have to say is thank god I went with my better judgement and decided to listen to this podcast with headphones at work otherwise...huuuu...Not good.

As for picking on Gearoid...Well...Why not just set aside like five minutes on each podcast to pick on one person or just interrupt Jon every time he says something. Equal opportunity! Although I do feel bad for Gearoid...it's just too funny (sorry!)

Oh and THANK YOU for the better sound quality! It just sounds so much better and I can catch everything that everyone says now. I can't always figure out who says what but except for when Ben and Gearoid speak but anyway...Nice podcast.

While your talking about limits...

Hey another "limits" question.... just how long (scale) is this bionic appendage? Its hard to tell from game play just how far it'll reach.

As far as podcasts... this was good stuff, but a bit Bionic Commando lean. I love hearing about "Red Skeleton drunk" dayworkers as much as the next guy, but I also like to hear about whats happening on Bionic Commando. Now I know that the excuse is that it was recorded pre-e3 (yes it did kinda suck) and you didn't have a lot you could say. Just remember that some of us are a bit fanatical, so throw us a bone.... or something ;)

Can we get 100% confirmation from one of the capcom people?? Seems psn people have to pay an extra 200 yen or so too.
